Pride for the Alma Mater

Deanna, speaking to a friend of hers in Los Angeles:

Friend: "He went to Pomona? Oh, I know those kind of people."

Deanna: "What do you mean?"

Friend: "You know, the kind of people to pick up a book and walk into the mountains. They're deep."
